Propylée (Monaco)

Completed between 2020 and 2021 in Monte Carlo for Engeco Monaco, the work by architect Fabrice Notari represents an extraordinary example of the synthesis of engineering, art, and formal sensitivity. The project is distinguished by the use of approximately 150 prefabricated elements—including tiles, pillars, and casing shells—covering a total area of ​​approximately 1,200 square meters.

The conceptual core of the project stems from an anthropomorphic analysis conducted by the architecture firm: from this reflection, the geometry of the columns takes shape, characterized by a slender and elegant silhouette that opens upward almost like a flower. These sculptural elements support the structure of the prefabricated tiles, which cover the street below and simultaneously create a terrace for the apartments above, thus blending function and beauty in a single architectural gesture.

The composition is completed by custom-made curved shells, designed to seamlessly and harmoniously complement the structure’s contours. Each element was installed with pinpoint precision, thanks to the design of custom molds that achieved a result of exceptional aesthetic and technical quality. The project represents a perfect balance between construction innovation and organic form.
